Pistol 1 — Safety, Confidence, Control

Whether you’re brand new to handguns or it’s been a while since you’ve practiced, Pistol 1 gives you the fundamentals you need to handle pistols safely and confidently. This hands-on class pairs each student with an experienced instructor, so you get focused guidance in a small-group setting. We cover pistol anatomy and how different actions work, safe handling and transfer procedures, proper loading/unloading, basic shooting stance and sight alignment, range safety and etiquette, and secure storage best practices.

Our priority is safety first: every exercise is done under strict supervision with unloaded training tools when appropriate, clear step-by-step demonstrations, and plenty of time to ask questions. By the end of the session you’ll understand how to operate a pistol safely, feel more at ease at the range, and know the next steps to continue building your skills.
